The Shingle Creek Neighborhood Association Board voted at their July 9, 2019 regularly scheduled monthly meeting to approve the restated and revised bylaws in accordance with their bylaws. The SCNA Board, due to it’s historic connections between it, it’s residents and those of the CommonBond Communities Shingle Creek and Kingsley Commons housing facilities constructed as part of a large Humboldt Greenway redevelopment and the residents who reside there. In view of this connectedness, one renter from Shingle Creek Commons and one renter from Kingsley Commons may now be elected as voting board members to the SCNA board.
Revisions to the Ex Officio language were also approved that will reduce the number of nonvoting Ex Officio SCNA Board members and change allowing two voting Ex-Officio board members and still allow one nonvoting Ex-Officio board member. The SCNA Bylaws were last updated and approved in 2014.
